The Seniors on Diwali – 26th October 2011 (am) – Om Shanti Bhavan
On the special occasion of the Diwali during the 75th Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, Brahmins from all 4 complexes and Double Foreigners from all over the world gathered in the beautifully decorated Om Shanti Bhavan mid-morning to offer bhog to Baba. Mohini Bhen of Madhuban offered bhog and senior brothers and sisters shared on the topic of Diwali. The following are extracts of their sharings. Tonight a cultural programme will be held in Om Shanti Bhavan.
Nirwair Bhai:- We come together from all over the world today to celebrate Diwali. Where else would this happen in the world? It is an
aspect of our honour that all of us from different places come together to celebrate. On this day we remember our especially beloved Dadiji Prakashmani from our hearts. She left the body in 2007 but her memorial is with us in such a way it is as if she is with us at every moment. Avyakt Baba is with us, Mama is with us, Didi (Manmohini) is with us… all our ancestors are with us. The teachings of Didi and Dadi are always with us. Their example, their dharna and their words are always with us. They have not left us. Their qualifications of what it really means to be a Brahma Kumari and their values are with us. The Dadis who are with us today are also such examples. If you were to give them a newspaper, they would put it down and pick up the Murli. (Dadi Janki commented ‘what is good in the newspaper anyway)! They read the Murli and show us how to churn, how to inculcate and how to become angels. This is what Baba wants from us. He wishes us to become angels – the future deities – and 16 celestial degrees complete.
So, on Diwali, on Baba’s behalf, on Mama’s behalf, on Didi’s behalf, on Dadi Ji’s behalf, and on behalf of all the Dadis who are here – let us put all the teachings around our necks like a garland of flowers. Let us continue to churn the teachings and consider ourselves as constantly wealthy. The real value in this world is for the jewels of knowledge, the dharna we have and the service we do. Baba used to tell us that we should not rest until Satyug is established. So, let us be united in this thought. Let us become the example of those who conquer maya and are messengers for the world. Let us quickly spread this message in the world so that the day of establishment that we are celebrating today can come in practical form. From today may you consider yourself as double crowned and be one who is ready to step into Satyug.
Dadi Gulzar:- This gathering of ours is very beautiful. How much happiness do you have? Happiness is a gift from BapDada. He gives us the blessing: Stay happy and distribute happiness. Happiness is such that when you give it, it not only never reduces but it increases! Anything else you may give away reduces but not happiness! Seeing others happy makes us happy also.
When we came to Baba we were all very young. Baba used to remind us how our faces should be. He showed us a fully blossomed rose and told us that our faces should always be like a fully blossomed rose flower. When you look in the mirror in the morning check this. Then check during the day as well. Has my face changed according to any situation? People should become happy on seeing my face. What gift will you give to Baba today? We have received a lot but what will give Baba? He asked us for our waste thoughts so are you ready to give these to Him? We have to give these and become free. Create a personal date for yourself when you plan to have given all waste to Baba and will have become an angel. When you stay in your form of light and might you will appear to all others as an angel.
So today is the Diwali of the Confluence. We deepaks have been lit. See your face! There is so much difference between a ‘gyani face’ and a ‘non-gyani’ face. Make your walking and your talking such that on seeing you people will realize that this one is something different. This one is not ordinary. People should be inspired by your face and activity and want to ask you what you have received that has made you like that.
Our organization has been moving along for 75 years. Baba has been sustaining us for 75 years! Now note down how far you have reached with giving the gift of waste thoughts to Baba. Note this before you sleep: Did I have waste thoughts today? Were they reduced today? Check every day and change accordingly…
Dadi Janki:- We are sitting in a plane and flying to Shantidham! If you want to become a Dadi or a Dada what must you do? People work hard to get titles in the world. Here, we don’t labour but it is no easy task to claim the title of a Dadi or a Dada! For this, you have to bow down, die and learn at every step. One has to transform the self completely. Those who completely transform the self comes into the eyes of God. When you become like that the whole family consents that this one is like this. That soul would have both motherly love and friendly love. Such a soul would have honesty, humility and patience. He/she would have a constant desire to remain stable and unshakeable. Baba used to say, ‘nothing new’, while Mama would say, ‘drama’. I have seen this with my own eyes.
Baba is not just ours in one relationship; He is the Mother, the Father, the Teacher, the Satguru… He gives us teachings for the whole day and when a soul imbibes those teachings He becomes their protector. Many souls have this good experience. Others don’t have this experience because they may not bring all the teachings into their life. Teachings protect the soul while Shrimat allows the soul to remain completely tension free.
Now be aware of what opens the door to waste. It is manmat and parmat. Shrimat closes the door to waste. What does it mean to be a sensible and clever soul? To be clever does not just mean to be clever with one’s brain. It means to be alert, to be cautious… It means to keep Baba’s knowledge in one’s mind, thinking and reflection. If you keep anything else in your mind then how can your thinking be good? I have to take knowledge and absorb myself in it.
I look at Dadi Gulzar’s face again and again… how beautiful it is! (everyone clapped). If you were to look at each other’s faces and see the spiritual beauty in each soul then a miracle would occur! First see Baba and then see each other with love, look at the specialities of each one and their weaknesses will finish. In this way, we will light each other’s lights and create the new age!
Dadi Prakashmani gave light to everyone! Her life gave light to so many. Now pay attention to your face. Let it be filled with light and love and spread your light in the world.
